Hi, my name is Genevieve Aisthorpe and I am excited to join the team at Generations Medical. I’ve returned to Brisbane for the first time since I was a medical student at the University of Queensland. Since then, I’ve worked all across Queensland, in Toowoomba, Cairns, Babina, North Stradbroke Island and the Gold Coast and most recently enjoyed a year in beautiful Wellington, New Zealand.

I completed my Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and obtained a Fellowship of Advanced Rural General Practice, with an Advanced Skill in Adult Internal Medicine, in 2022. I have really enjoyed the variety of work I’ve been able to be involved in as a GP. I’ve worked with people of all ages, in General Practice, Residential Aged Care Facilities and Emergency/Urgent Care. I have also worked in the Queensland Youth Cancer Service, in the development and implementation of a service for coordinating care for adolescents and young adults after cancer treatments.

I see patients of all ages and enjoy getting to know my patients and their families as I care for them.

I will be available for consults on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Generations Medical.
