Hi, I am Dr Alia Kaderbhai – I have recently joined Generations Medical. 

I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2012. Prior to embarking on a career in medicine, I completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology and a Diploma of Child Health and practiced as a speech pathologist in Brisbane and Glasgow. 

I have been the Chair of the Breast Medicine Network for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners for many years and am now a GP Specialist Advisor for BreastScreen.

I have worked in a diverse range of specialised areas including emergency, paediatrics, ICU, general medicine antenatal and perinatal care as well as women’s health. I am passionate about women’s health, antenatal care, and cancer survivorship. I am an assistant surgeon for breast and endocrine surgery as well as general surgery.

I am to create a safe, non-judgmental space for my patients.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling with my partner and 2 young children, running, pilates and swimming.
